They can be sole UHF, HF, and LF RFID reader, or can be dual-band, even triple band reader. Although all fixed readers are used to automatically read or write tags, they are different form factors in different scenarios and technology. Like LF and HF RFID readers, normally they are integrated with antenna and cover proximity range, to identify unique or several tags. And for UHF RFID readers, they can be all in one machine for access control, work in process management, but for most applications, they are independent readers and can be connected to several or up to 32 antennas via RF cable to cover a larger range for long-distance and batch identification.
