WEEGO EXPORT-IMPORT JSC. would like to thank you for your interest in our plywood products. Below is the detailed information about the product FINGER-JOINT BOARD:
For more details, please feel free to contact me as follows:
Step 1: Pick the log wood source, briefly split the bark
Our raw material
Step 2: Shorten the log, normally to the length of 0.7m or 2m
Step 3: Saw the wood log into sawn lumber of required size (Width: 80-110mm, thickness: 12 - 40mm)
Step 4: Kiln dry the sawn wood for 20-25 days at an appropriate temperature so that the wood is evenly expanded mechanically and reaches the moisture content of 8-14%. This prevents the wood from getting moldy. Each drying cellar’s capacity is 50-60CBM of wood.

Step 5: The lumbers are sawn again to the size of 20-30cm in length

Step 6: First time sanding – Lumber slats are sanded to their surfaces are smooth and safe for users

Step 7: Formation of a joint profile
Step 8: Vertical grafting - The 2 ends of the lumber slats are rubbed with a layer of Kokowa-Japan glue. This is a special glue that is safe for human health and the environment to create adhesion for the tenon joints. The tenons are connected together with a closed or open mortise depending on the specific order.
Step 9: 4-side sanding - After the wooden slats are joined together to form a long wooden bar of 2.48 - 2.5m in length, the long bar will be put into a specialized machine to be sanded. The smoothness of the surfaces will decide the adhesion of the glue to the bar.
Step 10: Horizontal grafting - The long wooden bars continue to be covered with a second layer of glue then stacked in the mold and go through the heat pressing process to create a strong adhesion for the wood panel.
Step 11: Finishing up – After the hot pressing, the finger-joint boards are trimmed to the exact size, certain defects are handled and the surface is smoothed once again for perfect faces.
Step 12: Storing and packing
