So, no matter what the weather brings, in nature you are in good shape having this as a kindling all ready to light. Just light the wick and you have your flame for over 20 minutes to get your fire lit. I have landscapers who use the Buddy Bars to clear brush, the old fashioned way, they say, only without kerosene. Hello, I am Mary Hannahan and I created Eco Fire, LLC in 2017 because I could not find a product on the market I liked. I didn’t want ingredients that weren’t clean or sustainable. I live in Wisconsin, a state known for its timber industry. I decided to make my own fire lighters. I had local hardwood residue, I recycled, and I found RSPO Palm Wax, a sustainably harvested product that I purchased from a Wisconsin distributor. This was my wish; a clean, good for the environment, dependable for lighting all my fires, indoors and out, fire starter. I named them Eco because they are 100% plant based, Fire for creating fire, and Bar because they resemble a small bar of soap. They have a wick, like a little tail, made of 100% cotton. You just light the wick, and the Mini, small bar, will light for 12+ minutes, or the Buddy Bar, larger, will light for 20+ minutes. You can count on a dependable, clean, safe fire starter. Non-flammable, 100% chemical-free, very lightweight, under 1 & under 2 ounces. We carry these 2 sizes, Mini Bar & Buddy Bar, and packaging choices, ranging from individually wrapped Mini Bars to 8 pack foil bags, waterproof, to 6, and 12 pack in a compostable, biodegradable kraft bag used for both Mini & Buddy Bars. Our eco business is selling both wholesale and retail to Camp Outfitters, Hunting Clubs, - for banquet gifts, in hardware stores, campgrounds, sports shops, state and national parks, survival online shops, and growing. Selling as a promotional gift is appealing for those focused on environmental concerns. No lighter fluid necessary. My husband, Colin Williams, and I run our eco business out of our workshop in the countryside in Centuria, Wisconsin. We believe this is one small step toward a cleaner world.
