White Fused Alumina is manufactured from high quality alumina powder by melting above 2000 ℃ in the electric arc furnace and cooling, classified into different grain sizes. The dense mineral is white in color, and has predominantly large crystals of Alpha Alumina.

White Fused Alumina has higher hardness and slight lower toughness comparing with brown fused alumina. White Fused Alumina is also characterized by its high purity, ability of self-sharpening, better cutting, less heat emit, higher efficiency, acid and alkali resistance, good thermal stability.
