Plywood is a three-layer or more than three-layer thin board made from logs that are peeled into veneer or wood square is sliced into thin wood, and then glued with adhesive. Usually an odd number of layers of veneers are used, and the fiber directions of adjacent layers of veneers are aligned and glued perpendicularly to each other. Therefore, there are odd layers of plywood such as three-in-one, five-in-one, and seven-in-one.
From the structural point of view, the outer veneer of the plywood is called the surface board, and the front surface board is called the front panel. It is made of high-quality veneers. The surface plate on the reverse side is called the back plate, and the second-quality single plate is used. The inner single board is called the core board or the middle board, and it is composed of poor quality single board.
