*As the Thermometer is not divided on its stem, but is mounted on a separate scale made of weather resistant plastic or wood.
*The highest & lowest temperature to reach must be indicated by means of a clearly visible metal pointer/needle which could be readjusted/ reset using a magnet provided with a groove to enable smooth movement along the Thermometer glass tube to shift the pointer/ needle due to magnetic effect.
