My name is Henry and I work in the purchasing department for an online UK retailer that specialise in homeware products.
Our company is interested in launching a range of bath mats in the UK and estimate initial monthly sales of between 200 and 500 units. We then hope to grow these figures to between 500 and 1000 units per month once the product establishes a foothold in the market.
We are looking for high quality, comfortable mats that are guaranteed to be non-slip. We require the mats to be machine washable, anti-mildew with plenty of drainage holes. We are interested in releasing a range of colours, however initially we may just launch one colour and assess demand from that.
We are interested in the different colour and design options available to us as preferably we would release a bath mat with a modern and fresh design such as to differentiate ourselves from our competitors. Are we able to include polka dots, stars, rain drops or a similar kind of shape or pattern within the design of the bath mat?
The specific product details we require are as follows :
- Guaranteed non-slip, strong suction to the bath tub
- Very comfortable to stand and sit for adults, children and babies
- Machine washable
- Anti-meldew
- At least 150 drainage holes
- Extra Long size of at least 100cm long and 40cm wide
- Ability to include shapes or patterns on the design of the bath mat e.g. polka dots, stars etc.
- Ability to release different colours either now, or in the future
- OEM available (probably just for packing but if this can be added to the actual product please include in the quote)
- Preferably concealed packaging (e.g. plastic wrap) such that any sticky labels do not get stuck to the product and the product will be protected throughout the shipping and storage process
It is very important to us that we are able to receive a sample of the product such that this can be thoroughly tested by our quality control team before we release it to the UK market.
