Northern Silicon AS, - Italian private company that has invested in recent years more than 10 million euro in developing solar grade silicon production by a new direct metallurgical route technology .
We have design and installed in Italy the largest pilot plant in the world , to produce solar silicon by direct metallurgical route after a refining process .
Our project consist in DEMO and Industrial Phase.
Our pilot- plant ( DEMO Phase) production capacity is about 700 tons per year.
Our current project is to move from a phase of R & D and invest in a different European county on industrial plant production of 10.000 TPY of Pure Silicon.
We are selecting future suppliers for quartz fused crucibles for DSS Furnace.
