I'd like to buy a new wire mesh belt shot blast line.
We carry a wide range of steel products from plate, to small forgings to long bars, to small fasteners & related hardware. Primary use of the machine will be to remove scale from steel forgings as well as rust and surface contaminates from steel round bar and plate. I require a versatile blast line to process as much as this as possible.
Here are some of the critical parameters from which to determine a suitable machine (if you have one) :
8 wheel, please specify power of wheels
36 to 48 belt width (90cm to 120cm), your nearest standard size
Loading length of belt before and after Blasting Chamber, each side = 156 (400cm), or nearest standard size
Height clearance for parts on belt into blast chamber (Opening Height) = 8 to 10.5 (20cm to27cm)
Capacity of machine to process approximately 1500 pounds per hour, (700 kilograms)
Variable speed control for the belt and machine (please provide specifications to line speed & capacity)
Estimate weight & size of smallest & largest parts that can be process on the line based on the above information
Dust collector to suit equipment & all specifications of the collector
Voltage for North American market. Input frequency in Canada is 60 Hz, Id prefer 600 Volt
Controls in English, plus all manuals and instructions available (pdfs are preferred)
Information on parts and service availability
Dimensions of machine and dust collector, an Autocad or pdf footprint of equipment for layout is helpful
Any documentation on conformity to North American electrical, mechanical and safety regulations
Links to videos of the equipment working would also be appreciated
Any additional items for loading and unloading from the belt line : bin loading, ergonomic devices, etc (automation would be ideal)
Since we have steel parts here to blast with a range in weight from 1 ounce to 120 pounds (25 grams to 55 kilograms) I believe that additional tumble blasting machine(s) will most likely be required as well. At this time I would ask that you focus your attention to providing me a suitable machine for the greatest amount of products that I can place on the wire mesh belt line and if you can provide that , then I will have you provide pricing on tumble blast units that would be suitable to process what is too small for the wire mesh belt line.
